What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the fees for Additional Training are generally non-refundable. Specifically, the FDD states that these fees are considered fully earned once paid, meaning that under normal circumstances, a franchisee cannot get a refund. The cost for Additional Training currently ranges from $995 to $10,000, depending on factors such as the length of the training, the trainer's experience, and the materials used.
However, there is an exception to this non-refundability. The FDD notes that a refund may be required if mandated by applicable law. This implies that in certain jurisdictions, consumer protection laws or other regulations might override Eos Worldwide's standard policy and entitle a franchisee to a refund under specific circumstances.
In addition to the Additional Training fee itself, franchisees are also responsible for covering any reasonable travel or related costs incurred by Eos Worldwide in providing the training. Franchisees must also pay for their own expenses related to attending the training, including travel, lodging, and meals. Therefore, prospective franchisees should budget not only for the training fee but also for these additional expenses, keeping in mind that the training fee is generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
