What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Eos Worldwide Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit A to the Joinder to Franchise Agreement must be a true and correct copy of the articles of incorporation (or other form of company charter) of the Business Entity. This document is referred to as the "Charter" and must be in full force and effect as of the date of the Joinder. Any amendments to the Charter must also be included.
This requirement ensures that Eos Worldwide has accurate and up-to-date information about the legal structure and status of the business entity joining the Franchise Agreement. It allows Eos Worldwide to verify the entity's legal existence and confirm that it is authorized to enter into the agreement.
Prospective Eos Worldwide franchisees should ensure that the articles of incorporation or company charter are readily available and accurate. They should also disclose any amendments to the charter to Eos Worldwide. Failure to provide an accurate and complete copy of the charter could delay or prevent the execution of the Joinder to Franchise Agreement.
