What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Technology Fee is not currently in place, but may be established in the future. If implemented, the Technology Fee would likely cover the costs of website development and maintenance, support of their e-mail system, and other technology developments, support, or services. Eos Worldwide also retains the right to offer additional, optional technology services for an additional fee at their discretion.
Eos Worldwide has the right to establish this fee and increase it, providing franchisees with thirty days' notice. Initially, the fee would be limited to no more than $100 per month. Any incremental fee increase will not exceed $100 per month or $1,200 annually during the initial term of the Franchise Agreement. The fee would likely be payable in the same manner and at the same time as the Monthly Membership Fee.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that while there is no immediate Technology Fee, they should be prepared for the possibility of one being introduced. It is important to factor in this potential cost when evaluating the overall financial investment required to operate an Eos Worldwide franchise. Furthermore, franchisees should inquire about the specific technology services that would be covered by the fee and the potential costs of any additional, optional services.
