What is the amount of the transfer fee for an Eos Worldwide franchise?

Eos_Worldwide Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We may waive a portion of the Transfer Fee upon a transfer resulting from your death or disability or for transfers to your spouse, child, parent or sibling.

We will also not charge a Transfer Fee for transfers of any existing equity of your Operating Entity to other existing current owners as long as there is no change to the Implementer as a result of such transfer, and the Implementer continues to qualify with each of the conditions set forth in the Franchise Agreement.

Waiving any portion of the Transfer Fee does not limit our rights to approve your transfer.

Transferees cannot provide Implementer Services until they are approved by us, sign our then-current Franchise Agreement and complete Boot Camp and pay the then-current Boot Camp Fee.

The Transfer Fee is intended to cover legal and other administrative expenses to be incurred by us in connection with these transfers.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Eos Worldwide Franchise Disclosure Document, the document outlines conditions regarding the transfer fee. Eos Worldwide may waive a portion of the transfer fee if the transfer results from the franchisee's death or disability, or if the transfer is to a spouse, child, parent, or sibling. Additionally, Eos Worldwide will not charge a transfer fee for transfers of existing equity within the franchisee's operating entity to other existing owners, provided there is no change to the Implementer and the Implementer continues to meet the qualifications outlined in the Franchise Agreement.

The FDD specifies that waiving any portion of the transfer fee does not limit Eos Worldwide's right to approve the transfer. Furthermore, transferees are not permitted to provide Implementer Services until they have been approved by Eos Worldwide, signed the then-current Franchise Agreement, completed Boot Camp, and paid the then-current Boot Camp Fee. The transfer fee is intended to cover the legal and administrative expenses incurred by Eos Worldwide in connection with these transfers.

However, the exact amount of the transfer fee is not specified in this section of the FDD. A prospective franchisee should inquire directly with Eos Worldwide about the current transfer fee amount and the specific conditions under which it may be adjusted or waived. Understanding the full scope of potential transfer costs is crucial for financial planning and assessing the long-term viability of the franchise investment.
