What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Eos Worldwide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Additional Training is generally optional. The FDD specifies that Additional Training is training requested by the franchisee, typically in the form of workshops. This is in addition to the initial Boot Camp training, any Mandatory Remedial Training, or training required upon renewal or transfer of the Franchise Agreement.
However, Eos Worldwide distinguishes this optional training from Mandatory Remedial Training, which the company may require a franchisee to complete if they breach the Franchise Agreement or violate the Operations Manual. This mandatory training is intended to protect the quality, integrity, and reputation of the Eos Worldwide franchise system, Marks, and Intellectual Property. The FDD also states that former EOS Implementers who sign a Franchise Agreement in lieu of the full Boot Camp may be required to complete Mandatory Remedial Training.
The fees for both Additional Training and Mandatory Remedial Training currently range from $995 to $10,000, but Eos Worldwide reserves the right to increase these fees. These fees do not include travel and related costs and expenses, which are the responsibility of the franchisee. Both fees are due prior to attending the training. Therefore, while Additional Training is optional and at the franchisee's discretion, Mandatory Remedial Training is required in certain circumstances to maintain compliance and uphold the standards of the Eos Worldwide franchise system.
