What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the disclosure document and franchise agreements are subject to the Wisconsin Franchise Investment Law. This means that Dryject must comply with the regulations set forth in this law when offering or selling franchises in Wisconsin.
Specifically, Dryject must provide prospective franchisees with the Franchise Disclosure Document at least 10 business days before the earlier of signing any binding agreement or making any payment. This gives potential franchisees time to review the document and seek professional advice before committing to the franchise. The Wisconsin Fair Dealership Law also affects the franchise agreement, particularly regarding renewal and termination rights.
Furthermore, certain provisions in the standard Dryject franchise agreement may be superseded by the Wisconsin Fair Dealership Law to protect franchisees. For example, the law requires Dryject to provide at least 90 days' prior written notice of termination and 60 days to remedy any claimed deficiencies, if those terms are more favorable to the franchisee than what is in the standard agreement.
