What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor cannot use the marketing funds principally to sell franchises. However, Dryject can include a brief statement about the availability of information regarding the purchase of Dryject franchises in advertising and other items produced and/or distributed using the Marketing Fund. This allows Dryject to mention franchise opportunities in their marketing materials without primarily using the funds for franchise sales.
This restriction ensures that the marketing fund, which is contributed to by franchisees, is primarily used to promote the Dryject system and support existing franchisees' businesses, rather than solely focusing on recruiting new franchisees. This benefits current franchisees by ensuring their contributions are used for marketing efforts that directly support their operations and brand awareness.
While Dryject can't use the marketing fund to principally sell franchises, the ability to include a brief statement about franchise opportunities provides a way to attract potential franchisees without violating the primary purpose of the fund. This balanced approach aims to support both the growth of the Dryject system and the success of its current franchisees.
