What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor cannot use the marketing fund principally to sell franchises. However, Dryject may include a brief statement about the availability of information regarding the purchase of DryJect franchises in advertising and other items produced and/or distributed using the Marketing Fund.
This means that while the marketing fund's primary purpose cannot be franchise sales, Dryject retains some leeway to mention franchise opportunities in their marketing materials. This could include a small tagline or website link in advertisements aimed at customers.
This restriction ensures that the marketing fund, which franchisees contribute to, is primarily used to promote the DryJect system and support existing franchisees' businesses, rather than solely benefiting the franchisor through franchise sales. Prospective franchisees should inquire about how the marketing fund is specifically used and what percentage is allocated to activities that could indirectly support franchise sales.
