What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are restricted in using commercial vehicles or premises for purposes outside of operating the Dryject business. Specifically, a franchisee cannot use any equipment, commercial vehicles, or premises (other than their home) for any purpose other than operating the franchised business in full compliance with the agreement, without prior written approval from Dryject.
This restriction ensures that all resources are dedicated to the Dryject franchise and that the brand's standards are maintained. It prevents franchisees from diluting their focus or potentially harming the Dryject brand by engaging in unrelated activities using Dryject-associated assets.
This requirement is fairly standard in franchising, as franchisors typically want to ensure brand consistency and prevent franchisees from engaging in activities that could compete with or detract from the franchise. A prospective franchisee should seek clarification from Dryject regarding what constitutes 'prior written approval' and under what circumstances such approval might be granted.
