Any required System Standards exist to protect Our interests in Our System and the Marks and not for the purpose of establishing any control or duty to take control over those matters that are reserved to You.
The Operations Manual also will include guidelines or recommendations in addition to required System Standards.
In some instances, the required System Standards will include recommendations or guidelines to meet the required standards.
You may follow the recommendations or guidelines or some other suitable alternative, provided You meet and comply with the required System Standards.
In other instances, no suitable alternative may exist.
In order to protect Our interests in the System and Marks, We reserve the right to determine if You are meeting a required System Standard and whether an alternative is suitable to any recommendations or guidelines.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to DryJect's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, DryJect retains the right to assess whether a franchisee is adhering to the required System Standards. The Operations Manual contains both mandatory System Standards and additional guidelines or recommendations. Franchisees have the option to either follow these recommendations or guidelines or implement a suitable alternative, as long as they meet and comply with the required System Standards. However, in some cases, there may not be a suitable alternative to the standards set by DryJect.
DryJect's ability to determine compliance with System Standards and the suitability of any alternatives is crucial for maintaining the integrity and uniformity of the DryJect franchise system. This ensures that all franchisees operate under a consistent set of standards that uphold the brand's reputation and quality. Franchisees must adhere to the directives outlined in the Operations Manual, as it may be updated by DryJect, to protect the overall system's integrity.
