What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dryject Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee's obligation to initiate and continue required maintenance is suspended under specific circumstances. This suspension occurs during any period when performing the required maintenance is impossible due to events beyond the franchisee's reasonable control.
The events that trigger this suspension include war, civil disturbance, or natural disaster. These events must make it genuinely impossible for the franchisee to fulfill their maintenance obligations.
If a Dryject franchisee fails to initiate or continue required maintenance within fifteen days after receiving notice, Dryject has the right to perform the maintenance on the franchisee's behalf and charge the franchisee for all associated costs. This clause underscores the importance of franchisees adhering to maintenance requirements unless prevented by the specified extraordinary circumstances.
