What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Dryject FDD, the Dryject system includes emblems as part of its trademarks and trade dress. The Dryject system encompasses various elements such as trade names, trademarks like "DryJect"®, service marks, trade symbols, trade dress, signs, slogans, associated logos, designs, emblems, URLs, domain names, Website addresses, email addresses, digital cellular addresses, wireless Web addresses, copyrights, and other trade names and trademarks developed by Dryject. These elements are intended to identify the Dryject system and distinguish it from competitors.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that the Dryject brand is protected through a variety of identifiers, including emblems. Franchisees are granted a limited right to use these identifiers within their territory. This protection helps to ensure brand consistency and recognition, which are crucial for attracting and retaining customers. Franchisees must adhere to Dryject's standards regarding the use of these emblems and other brand elements to maintain uniformity across the franchise system.

Dryject retains the right to develop and franchise additional trade names, trademarks, service marks, trade symbols, emblems, signs, slogans, insignias, or copyrights not specifically designated as Licensed Rights for use with similar or different franchise systems in any territory. This means that Dryject can introduce new branding elements or systems without granting franchisees any rights to them, providing Dryject with flexibility in its branding and expansion strategies. Franchisees should be aware that their rights are limited to the specific Licensed Rights granted to them and do not extend to any future branding elements developed by Dryject.
