What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dryject plays a crucial role in helping franchisees identify the necessary equipment and supplies to start their business. Before a Dryject franchise opens, Dryject will identify the equipment, inventory, materials, and supplies needed for the business to begin operations. This includes setting minimum standards and specifications, as well as identifying approved suppliers from whom these items can be purchased or leased. Dryject may also designate certain proprietary equipment and products, such as DryJect® machines and specific parts, which franchisees must purchase from Dryject's affiliates.
After the franchise opens, Dryject continues to provide support by offering updated lists of approved equipment, fixtures, inventory, and supplies. These lists include brand names, standards, and specifications, as well as updated lists of approved suppliers. This ongoing assistance ensures that franchisees have access to the most current information and resources needed to maintain their business operations.
This support is typical in franchising, as it helps ensure brand consistency and quality across all franchise locations. By designating approved suppliers and setting minimum standards, Dryject can maintain control over the quality of products and services offered under its brand name. For a prospective franchisee, this means they will receive clear guidance on what equipment and supplies they need and where to obtain them, which can simplify the startup process and reduce the risk of purchasing substandard or unapproved items.
