What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for operating the franchised business in full compliance with all System Standards. System Standards are defined as the mandatory specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules that Dryject periodically prescribes for the development and operation of Dryject franchised businesses. These standards may regulate any aspect of the operation and maintenance of Dryject franchised businesses, provided that all System Standards will apply uniformly to all similarly situated Dryject franchised businesses.
This means the franchisee is responsible for ensuring the safety of employees and customers by adhering to the standards and procedures set forth by Dryject. These standards could include safety protocols, training requirements, and maintenance schedules designed to minimize risks and ensure a safe environment. The franchisee must stay updated on any modifications, deletions, or additions to the System Standards as outlined in the Operations Manual.
Furthermore, the franchisee is expected to use their best efforts in operating the franchised business and in recommending, promoting, and encouraging patronage of all Dryject System businesses. They are also required to promptly respond to customer inquiries or complaints and achieve customer satisfaction for reasonable complaints. This includes taking steps to ensure positive customer relations and maintain the goodwill of the Dryject System. While Dryject may intervene in customer complaints if they determine the franchisee has not handled them fairly, the primary responsibility for customer satisfaction and safety rests with the franchisee.
