What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dryject Franchise Disclosure Document, the following individuals must satisfy the conditions for admission to and graduation from the Initial Training Program, which is located in Pennsylvania or another designated location: the franchisee (if an individual), and potentially other individuals at Dryject's option. These other individuals may include anyone actively involved in managing or operating the Franchised Business, such as a chief operating officer or managing member, as well as Key Employees and Management Persons. Additionally, Dryject may require anyone who owns or directly controls at least 20% interest in the franchisee (if the franchisee is a group of individuals or a business entity) to attend the training program.
Addendum B to the Franchise Agreement will identify the specific individuals required to attend the training program, making them subject to the agreement's terms and conditions. Each designated person must complete the Initial Training Program to Dryject's satisfaction. Failure to do so may result in an extension of the training program, and satisfactory completion of all mandatory training sessions is required to avoid breaching the agreement.
The Initial Training Program lasts approximately four days and must be completed before the Franchised Business's scheduled opening. This ensures that franchisees and key personnel are adequately prepared to operate the business according to Dryject's standards and procedures. Franchisees should carefully review Addendum B to understand exactly who is required to attend the initial training, as well as budget for the time and travel expenses involved.
