- (i) You pay to Us a Renewal Fee equal to twenty percent (20%) of the Initial Franchise Fee then being paid by new franchisees.
If You continue to operate after the end of the Term or any Renewal term without exercising an option to renew and signing Our then-current franchise agreement, You shall be deemed to be operating on a month-to-month basis under the terms and conditions of Our then-current form of franchise agreement. In such circumstances, and notwithstanding the foregoing, We may, on ten (10) days written notice, terminate Your Franchise Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, to renew a Dryject franchise, a franchisee must pay a renewal fee. This fee is equal to twenty percent (20%) of the initial franchise fee that new franchisees are paying at the time of renewal.
In addition to the renewal fee, the franchisee must meet several other conditions to renew their agreement. These include satisfying all outstanding monetary obligations to Dryject and its affiliates, executing the then-current standard franchise agreement, and signing a general release of claims against Dryject.
The franchisee must also complete any required retraining or refresher training programs and perform any necessary replacements or upgrades to ensure their equipment and computer systems conform to the specifications for new Dryject franchises. Failing to meet these conditions or continuing to operate without renewing can result in operating on a month-to-month basis under the current franchise agreement terms, and Dryject may terminate the agreement with only ten days' notice.
