What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the National Marketing Fund is used to develop and maintain local, regional, or national marketing and advertising programs. As a Dryject franchisee, you are required to contribute to this fund. The amount you pay is determined by either two percent of your monthly gross revenues or a fixed monthly fee, whichever is greater.
During the first three months of operation, Dryject franchisees are not required to contribute to the Marketing Fund. From months four to twelve, the contribution is $100 per month. This increases to $200 per month for months thirteen to twenty-four, and $300 per month for months twenty-five to thirty-six. After thirty-six months, the monthly contribution increases to $500. These contributions are due by the fifteenth of each month, or on the date specified in the Operations Manual.
Failure to pay the Marketing Fund Fee when due may result in interest charges of 18% per year, or the maximum contract rate permitted by law, whichever is less. Additionally, Dryject may require the franchisee to cover all expenses associated with collecting overdue payments, including attorney's fees and collection agency fees. This fund is intended to support the Dryject brand through coordinated marketing efforts, but it's important for prospective franchisees to understand the escalating costs and ensure they factor these into their financial projections.
