What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dryject may develop and provide creative materials for local and regional advertising. These materials can be made available to franchisees for publication or distribution in their market area, but at the franchisee's own expense.
Dryject also reserves the right to provide specific guidelines for advertising initiated by franchisees and can disapprove advertising that, in its sole judgment, does not align with their guidelines. Franchisees must immediately discontinue any advertising that Dryject deems detrimental to the Dryject system, marks, the company, its affiliates, or other franchisees.
In addition to Dryject's potential provision of creative materials, franchisees are required to create a local advertising and marketing plan. This plan must adhere to Dryject's system standards and requirements as outlined in the operations manual or as otherwise designated by Dryject. Franchisees must obtain prior written approval from Dryject for all advertising and promotional plans and materials at least 30 days before implementation, unless the plans and materials have been previously approved. Any plans or materials submitted by the franchisee that have not been approved or disapproved in writing within 30 days of receipt by Dryject are deemed approved.
These stipulations ensure that Dryject maintains control over its brand image and marketing strategies, while also allowing franchisees to engage in local advertising efforts. Franchisees should be aware of the costs associated with utilizing Dryject's creative materials and the importance of adhering to the company's advertising guidelines and approval processes.
