What is the procedure for Dryject franchisee advertising material approval?
Dryject Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You may develop advertising materials for your own use, at your own cost. You may not use any advertising materials unless we have approved them, 30 days in advance of use, in writing. Any plans or materials submitted by you to us that have not been approved or disapproved, in writing, within 30 days of receipt will be deemed approved. You must obtain our approval before you use any advertising and promotional materials, signs, forms and stationery unless we have previously approved them during the 12 months prior to their proposed use.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must have advertising materials approved by Dryject 30 days before use. Any advertising plans or materials submitted to Dryject that are not approved or disapproved in writing within 30 days of receipt are considered approved. Franchisees must obtain Dryject's approval before using any advertising and promotional materials, signs, forms, and stationery unless Dryject has previously approved them during the 12 months prior to their proposed use.
This means that a Dryject franchisee needs to plan their advertising well in advance. They must submit all materials to Dryject for approval at least 30 days before they intend to use them. If Dryject doesn't respond within 30 days, the materials are automatically approved, providing a degree of certainty for the franchisee. However, it is still the franchisee's responsibility to ensure compliance.
This requirement ensures that all advertising and promotional efforts align with Dryject's brand standards and marketing strategies. By retaining control over advertising materials, Dryject can maintain a consistent brand image and prevent franchisees from using materials that could be misleading or harmful to the brand. This is a common practice in franchising, where brand consistency is crucial for success.
Dryject also retains control over internet advertising, including the use of its trademarks in domain names. Franchisees cannot establish a website using domain names containing "DryJect®", "21st Century Aeration™" or "dryject.com". Dryject maintains the dryject.com website and provides franchisees with access to a page within it. This allows Dryject to control its online presence and ensure that all online marketing efforts are consistent with its brand standards.
