What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to make payments to the Marketing Fund according to a specific schedule. This schedule is based on either a percentage of the monthly Gross Revenues or a fixed monthly amount, whichever is greater.
For the first three months of operation, franchisees are not required to contribute to the Marketing Fund, paying $0 per month. From months 4 to 12, the payment increases to $100 per month. This amount then rises to $200 per month for months 13 through 24. For months 25 through 36, the required payment is $300 per month. Finally, from month 37 onwards, franchisees must pay $500 per month to the Marketing Fund.
In addition to the payment schedule, Dryject specifies that Marketing Fund payments are due in advance on the 15th day of each month, using the same payment method as the Royalty Service Fee. This means franchisees need to ensure funds are available and submitted by this date to remain compliant with the franchise agreement. The Marketing Fund is administered by Dryject and may be established as a not-for-profit corporation in the future. Franchisees can request unaudited income and expense statements annually to see how the funds are being used.
