What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the fee for payment by credit card is due upon receipt of the invoice. The amount of the fee is equivalent to the credit card processing fee. This means that Dryject franchisees will be responsible for covering the costs Dryject incurs when franchisees use credit cards to make payments.

Dryject requires franchisees to reimburse the company for the cost related to payments made via credit card. This is in addition to other fees such as the Royalty Service Fee and the National Marketing Fund fee. Franchisees should factor in these potential credit card processing fees when budgeting and managing their finances.

While Dryject allows for payments via credit card, the FDD also states that Dryject can require franchisees to authorize their bank to accept automatic withdrawals for all fees through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). This means Dryject can mandate that franchisees pay via EFT instead of credit card, which would eliminate the payment by credit card fee. Franchisees should clarify with Dryject under what circumstances credit card payments are accepted and if there are preferred methods of payment to avoid incurring extra fees.
