What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to DryJect's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, DryJect is not obligated to maintain the intranet indefinitely. DryJect has the option to establish and maintain either private pages on the DryJect Internet Website or an intranet. This platform would allow DryJect, its franchisees, and their authorized employees to communicate and share confidential information, including the Operations Manual and updates.
DryJect retains sole discretion and control over all aspects of the intranet, including its content and functionality. This control allows DryJect to manage the information shared and the overall user experience. However, DryJect explicitly states that it has no obligation to maintain the intranet indefinitely and can dismantle it at any time without incurring any liability to the franchisee.
For a prospective DryJect franchisee, this means that while an intranet may be available for communication and access to important documents like the Operations Manual, its continued existence is not guaranteed. DryJect can discontinue the intranet at its discretion, which could impact how franchisees receive updates and communicate with the franchisor and other franchisees. Franchisees should consider this potential disruption and inquire about alternative communication methods and access to information if the intranet is discontinued.
