What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Dryject FDD, Dryject provides franchisees with access to an Operations Manual that contains mandatory and suggested specifications, policies, methods, standards, operating procedures and requirements. This manual includes information relative to other obligations of a franchisee, and to the operation of a Franchised Business. Dryject also offers periodic continuing advice, consultation, and assistance on topics such as employee training. However, the FDD does not explicitly state that Dryject is obligated to provide mandatory employment-related guidance.

While the Operations Manual contains mandatory specifications, policies, and standards, it also includes guidelines and recommendations. Franchisees have the option to follow these recommendations or guidelines or some other suitable alternative, provided they meet and comply with the required System Standards. Dryject retains the right to determine if a franchisee is meeting a required System Standard and whether an alternative is suitable to any recommendations or guidelines.

Dryject offers ongoing support to franchisees through various channels, including personal visits, telephone, electronic transmission, newsletters, brochures, reports, and bulletins. This support covers a range of topics, such as marketing and advertising, management, maximizing sales and profits, customer service, employee training, and vendor relations. This suggests that while Dryject provides resources and support related to employment matters, it may not be a mandatory or comprehensive employment guidance program.

Prospective franchisees should inquire with Dryject about the specific employment-related guidance and support they provide, including the extent to which such guidance is mandatory and the resources available to help franchisees manage their employees effectively and in compliance with applicable laws.
