What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if the franchisee is a business entity, the Operating Principal must have at least a twenty percent (20%) ownership interest in the business.
This requirement ensures that the Operating Principal, who is responsible for the day-to-day decisions and has the authority to bind the business in dealings with Dryject, has a significant stake in the success of the franchise. This aligns the Operating Principal's interests with those of the franchisor and encourages active and committed management of the Dryject franchise.
Furthermore, Dryject requires written notice of the Operating Principal at least thirty (30) days before opening and prior written approval before any changes to this role. This allows Dryject to maintain oversight and ensure that a qualified individual is always in charge of the franchise operations. This also gives Dryject the opportunity to assess the suitability of any proposed replacement Operating Principal.
