What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must maintain all-risk property insurance. The minimum amount of this insurance must be no less than the replacement cost of the business's property. This insurance covers loss or damage to the business and personal property of the Dryject franchise.
In addition to all-risk property insurance, Dryject franchisees must also maintain other types of insurance. These include commercial general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in general aggregate, commercial automobile liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit, workers' compensation insurance as required by applicable law, and an umbrella policy of at least $1,000,000 as extended coverage to the commercial general liability, auto liability and employers liability insurance.
Dryject also has the right to increase the minimum insurance limits or add new types of required coverage, as detailed in the Operations Manual. Franchisees must provide certificates of insurance to Dryject at least ten days before opening their franchise. These policies must be written by an insurance company satisfactory to Dryject and must name Dryject as an additional insured/loss payee.
