What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to make Marketing Fund payments. For months 25 through 36 of operation, Dryject franchisees must pay the greater of 2% of their monthly Gross Revenues or $300 per month.
These Marketing Fund payments are due in advance on the 15th day of each month, using the same payment method as the Royalty Service Fee. This means that franchisees need to budget for this expense and ensure timely payment to avoid any penalties or disruptions to their franchise agreement.
The Marketing Fund is administered by Dryject, and it may be established as a not-for-profit corporation in the future. While Dryject manages the fund, franchisees can request access to internally unaudited income and expense statements on an annual basis, providing some transparency regarding how the funds are being utilized. Any excess funds not spent in a given fiscal year will be carried forward to the next fiscal year, suggesting that Dryject aims to use the funds responsibly for the benefit of the franchise system.
