What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Conference Registration Fee, which can be up to $500, is invoiced when billed, up to one year in advance of the conference. This fee covers the franchisee's attendance at national or regional conferences, which Dryject may conduct, but not more than once a year. Franchisees are required to attend these conferences and cover all associated expenses, including transportation, meals, lodging, and living expenses.

Dryject may charge the Conference Registration Fee up to one year in advance, and it will be invoiced and paid via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) as part of the franchisee's standard monthly billing. This advance billing allows Dryject to collect the fee even if the franchisee does not attend the conference, as the fee is non-refundable. However, Dryject will attempt to provide all substantive materials presented at the conference through the Internet or other means, ensuring franchisees have access to the information regardless of their attendance.

Dryject also reserves the right to adjust the Conference Registration Fee annually based on changes in circumstances, such as increased vendor costs or labor costs. This adjustment clause allows Dryject to account for fluctuations in the cost of providing the conference service. Prospective franchisees should factor in the potential for this fee, along with travel and lodging expenses, when assessing the overall cost of operating a Dryject franchise.
