What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Dryject Franchise Disclosure Document, the standard initial franchise fee of $29,500 is typically due upon signing the Franchise Agreement. However, this is subject to certain state-specific addenda that may defer the payment.

Specifically, for franchisees in Minnesota, the initial franchise fee is deferred until Dryject has fulfilled its pre-opening obligations and the franchise is open for business. This means a new franchisee in Minnesota would not have to pay the initial fee until their Dryject business is actually up and running.

Similarly, in Maryland, the initial fees and payments are deferred until Dryject completes its pre-opening obligations under the franchise agreement. This deferral is based on the franchisor's financial condition and is required by the Maryland Securities Commissioner as a financial assurance. Therefore, prospective Dryject franchisees should carefully review any state-specific addenda to understand the exact timing of their initial franchise fee payment.
