What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to DryJect's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if DryJect establishes an intranet, franchisees must strictly comply with the System Standards, protocols, and restrictions, collectively referred to as "Franchisor Protocols," that DryJect establishes from time to time. These Franchisor Protocols may address various aspects of intranet usage.
The Franchisor Protocols may relate to the use of abusive, slanderous, or otherwise offensive language in electronic communications. They may also govern communications between or among franchisees that endorse or encourage breach of any franchisee's franchise or license agreement. Franchisees must also ensure confidential treatment of materials transmitted via the intranet and adhere to password protocols and other security precautions.
DryJect's Franchisor Protocols will also outline the grounds and procedures for DryJect to suspend or revoke a franchisee's access to the intranet. Additionally, a privacy policy will govern DryJect's access to and use of electronic communications that franchisees post to the intranet. As the administrator of the intranet, DryJect can technically access and view any communication posted on the intranet, and all communications posted to it will become DryJect's property, free of any claims of privacy or privilege.
