- (a) If You are an individual or individuals, then You acknowledge and agree that the grant of license in Section 3 is made by Us in reliance on Your personal attributes and in consideration of the trust and confidence which We place in You, and on Your representation that You will actively and substantially participate personally in the beneficial ownership and management of the DryJect Franchised Business.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 DryJect Franchise Disclosure Document, if you are an individual franchisee, you are representing to DryJect that the grant of license is made in reliance on your personal attributes. DryJect is granting you the license based on the trust and confidence they place in you as an individual.
As an individual franchisee, you are representing that you will actively and substantially participate personally in the beneficial ownership and management of the DryJect franchised business. This means DryJect expects you to be directly involved in the day-to-day operations and decision-making of the franchise.
This representation is a condition of the franchise agreement. If you do not actively and substantially participate in the business, it could be a breach of the agreement. DryJect wants to ensure that franchisees are committed to the success of their business and are not simply passive investors. This requirement helps maintain the quality and consistency of the DryJect brand.
