What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dryject will make available general specifications for equipment, signs, furnishings, and operating supplies that are typically identified with Dryject franchised businesses. Franchisees are required to purchase and use these items in the operation of their Dryject Franchised Business. Dryject may also provide franchisees with specifications for brands and types of equipment, and exterior and interior signs required for any DryJect office(s) and/or vehicle(s), which are to be purchased at the franchisee's expense. These specifications may include minimum standards for design, appearance, size, and other restrictions.
Dryject franchisees must comply with all specifications for the types of equipment used in their franchised business, as provided in the franchise agreement and as set forth in the Operations Manual. Franchisees can purchase or lease original and replacement equipment and signage that meets these specifications from any source approved by Dryject. If a franchisee proposes to purchase or lease any item of equipment or signage not already approved, they must notify Dryject in writing and provide sufficient information for Dryject to determine whether the item meets their specifications. Dryject will then advise the franchisee within a reasonable time whether the item is approved.
Furthermore, Dryject franchisees are obligated to maintain the condition and appearance of their business premises, equipment, and vehicles consistent with Dryject's System Standards for the image of the franchised business. This includes effecting reasonable maintenance to maintain or improve the appearance and efficient operation of the franchise, such as adding new or improved equipment or parts, replacing worn-out or obsolete equipment and signs, and repairing the exterior and interior of any offices, trucks, and/or display booths. If Dryject determines that the general state of repair or appearance of the premises, vehicles, equipment, or signs does not meet their System Standards, they will notify the franchisee, specifying the necessary corrective actions. The franchisee must then initiate and complete a bona fide program to correct the deficiency within fifteen days of receiving the notice.
