What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the forms for the Confidentiality and Non-Compete Agreements that a franchisee must have their employees or contractors sign are located in the Dryject Operations Manual. Specifically, the FDD states that franchisees are required to have their employees or contractors sign these agreements before disclosing any confidential information to them.
It is important to note that Dryject emphasizes the franchisee's responsibility to protect the confidentiality of the Operations Manual and other proprietary information. Franchisees must ensure that these agreements are in place to safeguard Dryject's trade secrets and confidential information. The franchisee must also forward a copy of the signed agreement to Dryject.
Furthermore, the FDD acknowledges that the enforceability of non-disclosure, non-solicitation, and non-competition agreements can vary by jurisdiction. Dryject advises franchisees to seek their own professional legal counsel to ensure the agreements are adequate and enforceable in their specific location. This highlights the importance of understanding local laws and regulations regarding employee agreements to protect the Dryject system and trade secrets effectively.
