What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated insurance deposit ranges from $750 to $1,200. This deposit is estimated to be 25% to 50% of the first year's premium. The coverage includes general liability, auto coverage, fire, workmen's compensation, theft, property, and contents.
Prior to opening a Dryject franchise, franchisees must obtain certain minimum insurance coverages. These include workers' compensation in the minimum amount required by state law, general liability insurance of $2,000,000, excess insurance of $1,000,000 per occurrence, business automobile liability insurance of $1,000,000 combined single limit per occurrence, and an umbrella policy of not less than $1,000,000. Additionally, all-risk property insurance against loss or damage to business and personal property must be maintained in amounts not less than the replacement cost of such property.
Dryject requires that all insurance policies, except for Workers' Compensation and Employer Liability insurance, name them as an additional insured. Dryject also reserves the right to increase these limits or add new types of coverage at any time after giving notice. Franchisees must maintain this insurance coverage during the entire term of the Franchise Agreement with a responsible carrier. The current insurance requirements are summarized in the Operations Manual.
