What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to DryJect's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, DryJect retains significant control over the intranet/extranet, should they choose to establish one. DryJect has sole discretion over all aspects of the intranet/extranet, including its content and functionality. This means DryJect can decide what information is available, how it is presented, and what features are offered to franchisees.
DryJect also has the right to not maintain the intranet indefinitely and can dismantle it at any time without any liability to the franchisee. This indicates that the intranet is not a guaranteed service and could be discontinued at DryJect's discretion.
If DryJect establishes an intranet, franchisees have the privilege to use it, but they must strictly comply with DryJect's System Standards, protocols, and restrictions. These protocols may relate to various aspects, including appropriate language in electronic communications, restrictions on communications that encourage breaches of franchise agreements, confidential treatment of materials, password protocols, and a privacy policy governing DryJect's access to electronic communications. DryJect, as the administrator, can access and view any communication posted on the intranet, and all communications become DryJect's property, without any claims of privacy or privilege.
