What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the expenses associated with purchasing equipment and signage that meet Dryject's specifications. Specifically, Dryject may provide franchisees with specifications for the brands and types of equipment, as well as exterior and interior signs, required for Dryject offices and/or vehicles.
The franchisee is expected to purchase these items at their own expense. These specifications may include minimum standards for design, appearance, size, and other restrictions to ensure brand consistency and quality across all Dryject franchise locations. Franchisees have the option to purchase or lease original and replacement equipment and signage from any source approved by Dryject, providing some flexibility in sourcing these items.
If a franchisee wishes to purchase or lease equipment or signage that has not already been approved by Dryject, they must first notify Dryject in writing and provide sufficient specifications, photographs, drawings, and/or other information and samples for Dryject to determine whether the item meets their standards. Dryject will then advise the franchisee within a reasonable time frame whether the proposed item meets their specifications. This process ensures that all equipment and signage used in the Dryject franchise system aligns with the brand's standards and image.
