What aspects of products are Dryject's specifications designed to standardize?
Dryject Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Specifications and Standards. You must purchase certain products, supplies and equipment under specifications and standards that we periodically establish either in the Franchise Agreement, Manual or notices we send to you occasionally. These specifications are established to provide standards for performance, durability, design and appearance. We will notify you whenever we establish or revise any of our standards or specifications, or if we designate new or additional approved suppliers for products, equipment or services. Even if we designate and approve a supplier, you will not be obligated to purchase any items from it, except as noted earlier.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the specifications and standards that Dryject establishes are designed to provide uniformity in several key aspects of the products and services franchisees offer. These specifications are put in place to ensure standards for performance, durability, design, and appearance. This means Dryject aims to control not only how well the products function and how long they last, but also how they look and are presented to customers.
Dryject communicates these standards and specifications through the Franchise Agreement, the Operations Manual, and occasionally through direct notices to franchisees. This multi-channel approach ensures that franchisees are kept up-to-date on any changes or new standards. While Dryject may designate and approve specific suppliers, franchisees are generally not obligated to purchase exclusively from those suppliers, except for certain proprietary items.
This standardization is a common practice in franchising, intended to maintain brand consistency and quality across all franchise locations. For a prospective Dryject franchisee, this means adhering to specific guidelines when purchasing products, supplies, and equipment. While this may limit purchasing flexibility, it also ensures that franchisees are offering services and using products that meet Dryject's established quality and performance benchmarks.
