What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dryject's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dryject offers several forms of advice and guidance to franchisees as they prepare to open their Dryject Franchised Business. Dryject will designate the franchisee's territory and identify the necessary equipment, inventory, materials, and supplies, including minimum standards, specifications, and approved suppliers. Dryject also designates proprietary equipment and products, such as DryJect® machines and certain parts, which the franchisee must purchase at their own expense from Dryject's affiliates.

Dryject provides initial training for two individuals and permits the franchisee to use the Dryject manual and other training aids. Dryject also offers advice and guidance on obtaining inventory and supplies, providing approved services, advertising and promoting the business, and general business operations. Additionally, Dryject provides logo uniform apparel items, business cards, envelopes, letterhead, invoices, and estimate forms to help the franchisee establish their brand identity.

Dryject also conducts an on-site opening training program for the franchisee's initial employees, not exceeding three days, at the franchisee's location before opening the Franchised Business. This training takes place within the Designated Territory and is at Dryject's expense. The initial franchise management-training program is available to Franchise Owners and one additional person, typically a Manager or Assistant Manager. Franchisees must attend and complete this training program before opening for business. The typical time between signing the Franchise Agreement and opening for business is estimated to be 1 to 4 months, but the franchisee must open within 180 days of signing the Franchise Agreement or risk termination and loss of the initial franchise fee.

Dryject recommends that franchisees begin operations from their personal residence to save money initially. Franchisees are also expected to spend between $400 and $1,000 annually on local advertising, including advertising in local golf course superintendent's newsletters and participating in local trade shows. Franchisees must also adhere to Dryject's guidelines on advertising materials, requiring written approval 30 days in advance of use, and must contribute to the Marketing Fund, with payments starting at $0 per month for the first three months and increasing to $500 per month after 37 months.
