What advertising or use of the Dryject Marks is prohibited under the agreement?

- (c) No advertising or other use of the DryJect Marks by You shall contain any statement or material which, in Our sole judgment, We consider to be in bad taste or inconsistent with DryJect's public image, or tends to bring disparagement, ridicule or scorn upon Us or Our affiliates or predecessors or successors or the DryJect Marks, or diminish Our associated goodwill. You shall not make any use of the DryJect Marks or any advertising material that We have disapproved for any of the reasons set forth in this Section.
- (d) You shall adopt and use the Licensed Rights only in the manner provided to You by Us in the Operations Manual (including any brand standards) or as otherwise expressly approved by Us.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dryject Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee cannot use the Dryject Marks in any advertising or material that Dryject considers to be in bad taste or inconsistent with its public image. This also includes anything that could disparage, ridicule, or bring scorn upon Dryject, its affiliates, predecessors, or successors, or that diminishes the goodwill associated with the Dryject Marks.
Dryject retains sole judgment over what constitutes inappropriate or inconsistent material. This gives Dryject broad discretion to control how its brand is represented by franchisees. The franchisee is also prohibited from using any Dryject Marks or advertising material that Dryject has specifically disapproved.
Furthermore, the Dryject franchisee must only use the Licensed Rights in the manner provided in the Operations Manual, including any brand standards, or as otherwise expressly approved by Dryject. This ensures that all advertising and marketing efforts align with Dryject's established guidelines and standards, maintaining uniformity and protecting the brand's image.
