13. OPERATING ASSISTANCE AND DELEGATION OF SERVICES
- 13.1. Consultation.
We agree, upon Your reasonable request, to furnish guidance, make recommendations and generally to give You the benefit of Our knowledge and experience in establishing, managing and operating Franchised Businesses.
To the extent that such request for consultation exceeds that customarily provided by Us to franchisees in general, We may charge a reasonable fee.
- 13.2. Location Directory.
We shall publish and keep up-to-date a directory of Our Locations on Our Web site.
Each of Your Locations shall be listed in the directory provided You are not in default of this Agreement.
We shall distribute this publication to selected travel agents, corporate travel managers and others who purchase vehicle rental services.
- 13.3. Reservations System.
We or Our Affiliate currently maintain a Reservations System.
Your use of the Reservations System is subject to the limitations described in Section 10 of this Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dollar Rent A Car FDD, Dollar Rent A Car will furnish guidance, make recommendations, and generally give the franchisee the benefit of their knowledge and experience in establishing, managing, and operating franchised businesses upon the franchisee's reasonable request. However, Dollar Rent A Car may charge a reasonable fee if the request for consultation exceeds what is customarily provided to franchisees in general.
Dollar Rent A Car will also publish and keep up-to-date a directory of its locations on its website. Each of the franchisee's locations will be listed in the directory, provided they are not in default of the Franchise Agreement. This publication will be distributed to selected travel agents, corporate travel managers, and others who purchase vehicle rental services.
Additionally, Dollar Rent A Car or its affiliate currently maintains a Reservations System. The franchisee's use of the Reservations System is subject to the limitations described in Section 10 of the Franchise Agreement. If the franchisee is in breach of any of their obligations under the agreement, their access to the reservation system may be affected.
