THE FRANCHISE RELATIONSHIP

| Franchise Agreement or under federal, state or local laws, rules, | ||
| regulations or orders; |

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dollar Rent A Car's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement may be renewed for successive periods if certain conditions are met. Specifically, the agreement can be renewed for the number of successive renewal periods, if any, that are outlined in Attachment A of the Franchise Agreement.
To renew the Dollar Rent A Car franchise, a franchisee must not be in default of any provision of their Franchise Agreement or any other agreement with Dollar Rent A Car or its affiliates. They also must not have failed to make any payments owed to Dollar Rent A Car or its affiliates in a timely manner and must have been in compliance with all terms and conditions of the Franchise Agreement.
In advance of each renewal, the franchisee must execute a new franchise agreement and pay a renewal fee, the amount of which is detailed in Attachment A of the Franchise Agreement. Additionally, the franchisee must provide written notice of their election to renew not more than 12 months nor less than 9 months prior to the end of the current term, pay all outstanding amounts owed, comply with current qualification and training requirements, cover Dollar Rent A Car's out-of-pocket costs related to the renewal application, execute a general release of claims, and modernize the franchised business to meet current standards.
