THE FRANCHISE RELATIONSHIP

| officers, directors, members, shareholders, and employees, in their | ||
| corporate and individual capacities, including claims arising under the | ||
| Franchise Agreement or under federal, state or local laws, rules, | ||
| regulations or orders; |

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dollar Rent A Car's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the renewal fee amount is detailed within Attachment A of the Franchise Agreement. To renew the franchise agreement, a franchisee must not be in default, must have made all payments on time, and must have been in compliance with the terms of the Franchise Agreement.
In addition to these conditions, the franchisee must provide written notice of their election to renew not more than 12 months nor less than 9 months before the end of the current term. They must also meet the then-current qualification and training requirements set by Dollar Rent A Car.
Furthermore, the franchisee is responsible for paying Dollar Rent A Car's out-of-pocket costs related to the renewal application. They must also execute a general release of all claims against Dollar Rent A Car and its affiliates. The franchisee is also required to refurbish or modernize their franchised business to meet the current standards of Dollar Rent A Car.
