"Rental Agreement" means the forms used in Your Franchised Business for the rental of Vehicles to Your customers.
"Reservations System" means the system designated and/or operated by Us, Our Affiliates, or Our Delegates, at any time during the Term, that allows customers to book Franchised System Vehicle rental reservations, including by using the Franchised System toll free number, by accessing Our Web site on the Internet, by using other Web sites linked to the Franchised System's reservations system, through a smartphone or other technology-based application, or by accessing and/or using global distribution systems by and through travel agents.
"Revenue Target" means the targeted Gross Receipts that Your Franchised Business is realistically expected to achieve in any particular year.

According to Dollar Rent A Car's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Reservations System is defined as the system designated and/or operated by Dollar Rent A Car, its affiliates, or its delegates. This system enables customers to book vehicle rental reservations.
The Reservations System facilitates bookings through various channels, including the toll-free number, the Dollar Rent A Car website, affiliated websites, smartphone applications, and global distribution systems used by travel agents. As a franchisee, participation in this system is mandatory, and you must promote it. You are required to comply with all terms, conditions, and procedures of the Reservations System and must accept and service all reservations received through it, regardless of how the reservation was made.
Dollar Rent A Car retains the right to combine its Reservations System with other vehicle rental, leasing, and sales systems, including those owned or operated by its affiliates. Franchisees are obligated to pay the fees and charges associated with using the Reservations System to Dollar Rent A Car or its designee. Furthermore, franchisees must accept and service reservations from other franchisees within the Dollar Rent A Car system and transmit reservations to other franchisees or Dollar Rent A Car without charging the customer or imposing fees on the receiving franchisee or Dollar Rent A Car, except as specified in the Operations Guide.
Franchisees are prohibited from establishing or using any reservation system that competes with or duplicates the system established by Dollar Rent A Car. However, a local reservation center that is not promoted outside the franchisee's territory or to airport customers is not considered a violation. Dollar Rent A Car has the right to remove, suspend, or block a franchisee's locations from all Reservations Systems if the franchisee breaches any obligations under the Franchise Agreement or any other agreement with Dollar Rent A Car or its affiliates, until the breach is resolved to Dollar Rent A Car's satisfaction.
