What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Dickeys Barbecue Pit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use the Restaurant premises solely for the operation of the Restaurant. Dickeys Barbecue Pit requires franchisees to maintain specific business hours as outlined in the manuals or as otherwise specified in writing.
Without prior written consent from Dickeys Barbecue Pit, franchisees are prohibited from using or allowing the use of the premises for any purpose other than the Restaurant operation. Franchisees are only permitted to conduct business with customers at the Restaurant and through any catering or delivery operations that Dickeys Barbecue Pit authorizes.
This restriction ensures that the focus remains on the Dickeys Barbecue Pit business and maintains the brand's consistency. It prevents franchisees from diluting the brand by engaging in unrelated activities on the premises. Franchisees need to seek approval for any additional activities they wish to conduct at the Restaurant location.
