What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Deka Lash Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee intends to use a studio manager, that manager must take the initial training program. Completion of the initial training to Deka Lash's satisfaction is required to operate a franchise within six months of signing the franchise agreement. To successfully complete initial training, the attendee must fully attend the classes, behave in a manner that Deka Lash feels is professional and attentive, and pass any tests given during training. The initial onboarding fee covers the cost of two attendees. The franchisee must pay a $500 charge per person for any additional attendees. The franchisee is also required to pay any travel, transportation, lodging, meal costs, and wages for the attendees.
Deka Lash intends to hold initial training classes quarterly or as needed. These classes may be offered online or in person at locations to be determined. Deka Lash uses the Operations Manual, handouts, presentations, and current franchisees to conduct initial training.
