What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Deka Lash Franchise Disclosure Document, Deka Lash retains significant control over the goods and services offered by its franchisees. Deka Lash places no limits on its right to make changes to the authorized goods and services that franchisees are allowed to sell. This means Deka Lash can add or remove approved items at any time.

Furthermore, Deka Lash has the authority to revoke approval of any previously authorized good or service. If Deka Lash revokes approval, franchisees must immediately stop selling or performing the revoked services or products. This gives Deka Lash considerable power to dictate the offerings at each franchise location.

Additionally, Deka Lash maintains complete and exclusive control over all of its logos, designs, and products. Franchisees are prohibited from independently seeking out manufacturers, vendors, or other third parties to design or produce any Deka Lash-branded items. This ensures consistency and quality control across all franchise locations, but it also limits the franchisee's autonomy in sourcing products.

In practical terms, a Deka Lash franchisee must be prepared to adapt their offerings based on Deka Lash's decisions. This could involve discontinuing popular products or services, or adopting new ones that may require additional training or investment. Franchisees should carefully consider these factors and discuss with Deka Lash their strategies for product and service evolution.
