What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deka Lash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for covering the costs of travel, lodging, transportation, and meals for themselves and their employees to attend the initial training. The Operations Onboarding & First Studio Opening Support Fee covers the training fees for up to two attendees listed on the Franchise Agreement.
For any additional attendees beyond the initial two, Deka Lash charges a fee of $1,500 per person. In addition to this per-person fee, the franchisee must also pay for travel, lodging, transportation, meal costs, and wages for these additional attendees.
This means that a prospective Deka Lash franchisee needs to factor in these additional expenses when budgeting for the initial setup and training phase. These costs can vary significantly depending on the location of the training, the number of employees attending, and travel arrangements.
