What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deka Lash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must obtain written consent from Deka Lash for any digital marketing activities related to the brand, marks, or studio. This includes all online advertising and promotional efforts. Deka Lash retains the right to withdraw this approval at any time.
This requirement ensures that all digital marketing efforts align with Deka Lash's brand standards and marketing strategies. By maintaining control over digital marketing, Deka Lash aims to protect its brand image and ensure consistent messaging across all franchise locations. This also allows Deka Lash to monitor and manage online marketing activities to optimize performance and prevent any unauthorized or inappropriate content.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that while they can engage in digital marketing, they must first seek and obtain written approval from Deka Lash. They must also adhere to Deka Lash's policies and guidelines for digital marketing. This may involve submitting marketing plans and materials for review and approval before they are launched. Failure to comply with these requirements could result in the withdrawal of approval and potential penalties.
This level of control over marketing is fairly common in franchising, as it helps maintain brand consistency and protect the overall reputation of the franchise system. Franchisees should factor in the time and effort required to obtain marketing approvals when planning their local advertising campaigns.
