What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deka Lash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the referral fee is subject to change. Deka Lash currently pays a $5,000 referral fee to franchisees, vendors, and others who provide prospective franchisee leads that result in a new franchise agreement. However, this referral program is administered at Deka Lash's sole discretion, meaning they can change or discontinue it at any time.
This means that while a Deka Lash franchisee might receive a $5,000 referral fee for a successful lead today, this is not guaranteed to remain the same in the future. The amount could be increased, decreased, or the program could be eliminated entirely. This discretion gives Deka Lash flexibility in managing its franchise recruitment efforts.
Prospective franchisees should be aware that any referrals they provide are not acting as agents of Deka Lash, even if they receive a referral fee. Deka Lash does not control what these individuals say and cannot guarantee the accuracy of any statements made by them to prospective franchisees. Therefore, it is crucial for potential franchisees to conduct their own independent research and due diligence rather than relying solely on information provided by those receiving referral fees.
