Deka_Lash Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
Currently our policy is that we will send you a monthly reconciliation of any amounts due to us ("Accounts Receivable" or "AR"), including Royalties, Brand Development Fund Contributions, products, gift cards, and refunds and give you 3 calendar days to respond with any corrections, errors or modifications to the Accounts Receivable.
If you do not respond within 3 calendar days, you consent that this amount due is fair and accurate and due immediately in full.
After the response period, we will then initiate an automatic account withdrawal for the amount due.
This policy may be updated in our Operations Manual.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Deka Lash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Deka Lash will send a monthly reconciliation of amounts due, including royalties, brand development fund contributions, products, gift cards, and refunds. Franchisees have 3 calendar days to respond with any corrections, errors, or modifications to the accounts receivable. If a franchisee does not respond within 3 calendar days, they consent that the amount due is fair, accurate, and due immediately in full. After this response period, Deka Lash will initiate an automatic account withdrawal for the amount due.
This policy means that Deka Lash franchisees must carefully review the monthly reconciliation statements they receive from Deka Lash and promptly address any discrepancies within the 3-day window. Failure to do so will result in automatic withdrawal of the full amount, even if there are legitimate errors. This places the onus on the franchisee to be vigilant and proactive in managing their account with Deka Lash.
It is important to note that Deka Lash reserves the right to modify the payment methods and schedule in its Operations Manual, so franchisees should stay informed of any changes to this policy. Additionally, franchisees acknowledge that it is a substantial and material breach of the Franchise Agreement if they fail to provide or revoke authorization for automatic withdrawals or close any bank account associated with the collection of gross revenue without Deka Lash's prior written consent. Franchisees should also be aware that Deka Lash may charge a payment service fee of up to 3.75% for payments made with a credit card.
