Answer from 2024 FDD Document

You may use your own advertising materials provided that, prior to use, you submit them to us and we approve them, in writing, and they adhere to federal, state, and local law. All Internet and social media marketing using our Marks must be coordinated through us and approved by us. If our written approval is not received within 14 days from the date we received any material or marketing request, the material or request is deemed disapproved. (Franchise Agreement, Section 7.2).

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Deka Lash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if franchisees choose to use their own advertising materials, these materials must adhere to federal, state, and local laws. Prior to using these materials, franchisees must submit them to Deka Lash for written approval. If written approval is not received within 14 days from the date Deka Lash receives the materials or marketing request, the material or request is considered disapproved.

This requirement ensures that all advertising and marketing efforts by Deka Lash franchisees align with legal standards and protect the brand's reputation. It also allows Deka Lash to maintain control over its brand image and messaging, ensuring consistency across all franchise locations. Franchisees must factor in this approval process when planning their marketing activities to avoid delays.

Additionally, all internet and social media marketing using Deka Lash's trademarks must be coordinated through and approved by Deka Lash. This is particularly important in the digital age, where online marketing can have a significant impact. By mandating adherence to federal, state, and local laws, Deka Lash aims to mitigate any legal risks associated with franchisee advertising. This also ensures that all marketing efforts are ethical and not misleading.
